Situated at the Lange Voorhout in the heart of the city, Hotel Des Indes is a gateway to a proud history. Hotel Des Indes opened in 1881 and has hosted aristocrats, kings, heads of state, and celebrities. Originally built in the nineteenth century as the town residence of Baron van Brienen, the personal advisor of King William III, the property was sold only four years after the Baron?s death and was soon renovated into a luxury hotel. The atrium?s magnificent drop chandelier and the colossal marble columns flanking the spacious lobby reflect this hotel?s heritage. The 92 guest rooms and 13 suites were restored to their former splendour by interior decorator Jacques Garcia. Each room blends contemporary amenities with iconic architectural statements.
